Our Mission

Confidence. Dignity.
A Strong Start.

Campus Ready Foundation supports first-time college students from low-income households with what financial aid wasn't designed to provide: the basics that make arrival possible and belonging feel real. Move-in essentials, travel to campus, early-arrival support. One well-timed grant. A fundamentally different beginning.

The challenge

The gap nobody talks about

Most students who apply to college have figured out how to get there. What nobody told them — what financial aid doesn't cover — is what it costs to arrive. The bedding, the towels, the supplies, the flight, the hotel, the first few days of food before the dining hall opens. For a family stretched thin, these aren't luxuries. They're barriers. And when a student walks onto campus visibly less prepared than their classmates, that gap doesn't just show up in their bank account. It shows up in whether they feel like they belong.

Our solution

Essentials that make a real beginning possible.

Move-in essentials

Bedding, towels, storage, and the essentials we've found every student needs in those first days on campus — regardless of school, major, or how far from home they've come.

Travel to campus

Transportation to campus for the student and a parent or guardian on move-in day — including in-kind partnerships with services like Lyft, so getting there isn't something a family has to choose not to do.

Early-arrival support

Help covering the first days on campus, before dining services open for the semester.

With these basics in place, students can do what they came to do — learn, connect, and begin.

How it works

Donors & Partners

You make it possible

Individuals, companies, and organizations provide the funding and in-kind products and services that make grants possible — from cash donations to transportation partnerships to product contributions.

Campus Ready Foundation

We coordinate

We evaluate applications, select recipients, and deliver move-in essentials, travel to campus, and early-arrival support — coordinated for each student's situation.

Students

They begin

First-time college students receive their award before move-in day and begin their college experience ready, not catching up.

"A strong beginning, with dignity intact, can change everything."
